Jack Buck

Voice of the St. Louis Cardinals and Sports Director of KMOX Radio in St. Louis for 45 years, Jack Buck has established himself today as one of the most respected sports broadcasters in the industry.

In addition to his broadcast duties with KMOX and the Cardinals, Buck has served as play-by-play announcer for CBS Radio Network's broadcasts of the World Series since 1983, covered the 1965 and 1976 All-Star Games and broadcast National Little League Championship Series games from 1979 through 1982. Earlier this year, Buck joined CBS Sports as a play-by-play announcer for the network's Major League Baseball broadcasts.

Buck's broadcasting career has not been limited to baseball; he has covered professional football for all three television networks and has served as play-by-play announcer for the CBS Radio Network's NFL broadcasts since 1978.

In a long and distinguished career behind the microphone, Buck has demonstrated a standard of broadcast excellence and professionalism that have been matched by few broadcasters.
